As many of you know, we dispersed our heard in 2003 to make some needed improvements to the land and facilities at our Clemmons, North Carolina, farm. The improvements, getting the pastures in order with reseeding and rest along with new fences, are just about finished and the Yadkin River program will again be up and racing.

We will base the "New and Improved" Yadkin River program on two daughters of the breed's leading total carcass and number one $B valued female, GAR Precision 2536, sired by B/R New Design 323. These daughters of "2536" were purchased as the breed's $105,000 record-selling flush through the 2002 Wehrmann Angus Sale.

When traveling through North Carolina, plan a visit to Yadkin River and see why the future seems so bright with two of the greatest accomplishments of GAR Precision 2536 headlining the herd.
